
Dr. Conroy grew up in Omaha. He is married and has three children. He attended Daniel J. Gross High School in Omaha. He received a B.A in Exercise Science at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He completed graduate school at the University of Connecticut with a M.A in Exercise Science (thesis – Bone Density changes in Elite Olympic Weight Lifters).
Dr. Conroy has worked as a strength and conditioning coach at Creighton University and at the University of Connecticut. He has taught Exercise Physiology at Creighton University. He has been involved in research involving the effects of exercise on bone density, and the response of growth factors to exercise programs.
Dr. Conroy is the team physician for multiple area High Schools and attends many athletic events to provide on field coverage of the athletes medical needs. He volunteers as a ringside physician for local, national, and international boxing events. He travels with Omaha's National Golden Gloves team and serves as a ringside physician for the National Golden Gloves each year.
